Set up Real Debrid on Kodi

Method 1: Set Up Real Debrid on Kodi from Within the Addon

I am going to use The Crew and the Diamond Shadow addons to show you how to set up Real Debrid.

Follow these steps:

1. From the home screen of Kodi, go to Add-ons > Video add-ons to access all your installed addons

Now, click and open the desired addon (I am opening The Crew Kodi addon)

2. Next, find the option such as Tools or Settings and click it

3. Click ResolveURL: Settings

4. When the following popup appears, click Universal Resolvers on the left

5. Now, on the right, scroll down to the Real-Debrid section

Set the Priority value at 90

Next, click (Re)Authorize My Account

6. A popup should appear with the Real Debrid authorization code

Note down the code

The code typically expires in 120 seconds (2 minutes)

7. Go to real-debrid.com/device on a PC or smartphone

Sign in with your Real Debrid account if you haven’t already

Enter the authorization code from Kodi (previous step)

Click Continue

8. Once Real Debrid has been authorized successfully, you should see the confirmation saying, “Application allowed, you can close this page”

9. Back on Kodi, you should see the confirmation in the top-right corner saying, “Real-Debrid Resolver Authorized.”

This is how you set up Real Debrid on a Kodi addon.

However, the steps may vary across addons. For instance, take a look at the set-up steps for the Diamond Shadow addon:

1. On the main screen of the Diamond Shadow Kodi addon, click Settings

2. Now, click Debrid/General in the left menu

On the right, make sure the option Enable Debrid Service is enabled

Click Re-auth Real-Debrid

3. A popup is displayed with the Real Debrid authorization code

Again, go to real-debrid.com/device and enter this authorization code like before

Method 2: Set Up Real Debrid on Kodi Globally

If you can’t find the Real Debrid authorization option within the addon settings, you can set it up globally.

Note: If you have already set up Real Debrid with the desired addon, you may not need to follow these steps

You will need to set up Real Debrid on Kodi with one of (or both) the following dependencies:

1. Resolve URL
2. URLResolver

Here are the steps:

1. Choose the gear icon  in the top-left corner of your Kodi home screen for Settings

2. Open System

3. Select Advanced (bottom-left section)

4. Click Add-ons > Manage Dependencies (it will not appear until you choose ‘Advanced’ in the previous step)

5. Scroll down and click ResolveURL

💡If you don’t see ResolveURL, skip to step-14

6. Choose Configure

7. Highlight the tab Universal Resolvers in the menu

8. In the middle section, go down and select the section Real Debrid

First, set the priority value to 90

9. Next, hit (Re)Authorize My Account

10. You will now see this prompt with the Real Debrid authorization code

11. Visit real-debrid.com/device

Type the code that you see on the prompt above

Click Continue

💡You may need to sign in with the Real Debrid login/account you created if you aren’t already

12. Upon successful authorization, Kodi will display the following confirmation in the upper-right corner

13. Repeat the steps 1 to 4 (where you clicked Manage Dependencies)

14. Click URLResolver

💡If you don’t see URLResolver and you have already followed the steps 1 to 12 successfully, no need to proceed further

15. Follow steps 6 to 12

How to use Real Debrid on Kodi

You don’t need to do anything special to use Real Debrid on Kodi.

Just use the addon as usual and you will find several new, premium streaming links.

Click the hamburger menu or the 3-line menu

2. Click Settings on the menu

3. Click Account on the next window

4. Scroll down and click Login to Real-Debrid

💡 Keep scrolling until you see Real Debrid

5. The app will now display a window with the Real Debrid authorization code

6. Now, open the browser on your phone or computer and visit https://real-debrid.com/device

Type in the code on your FireStick screen and click Continue

7. Wait for a few moments

The Real Debrid login status would change to ‘Authorized’

8. You are now ready to start streaming via Real Debrid on FireStick.
