Part 1: Install & Set Up Downloader

If you already have Downloader, click to jump to app installation steps.

The following steps will show you how to install Downloader on FireStick. If you own a Google or Android TV, use the search option on the home screen to find and install Downloader. You can also follow our step-by-step guide on sideloading on Google or Android TV devices. 

1. From the home screen of your FireStick, navigate to Find and Search.

2. Start typing Downloader and click it in the search results.

3. Click the Downloader icon on the next window.

4. Click the Download button (or you may see the Get button).

5. Wait for the installation to finish.

6. We will now set up Downloader for sideloading. Go to FireStick Settings from the home screen.

7. Click My Fire TV.

8. Click Developer Options.

Can't see Developer Options? Click About, then click your FireStick device name 7 times until you see "No need, you are already a developer" at the bottom (or read the step-by-step instructions to enable Developer Options).

9. Click Install unknown apps.

Note: If your device shows the global setting Apps from Unknown Sources, enable it and skip the next step.

10. If Downloader is OFF, click it and turn it ON.

11. Go back to the FireStick home screen and click the App library icon.

12. Open Downloader.

13. Click Allow (one-time permission is required).

14. Click OK if you see this prompt.

15. Click the # icon to open the numeric pad and enter the Downloader code. If you want to type a URL, click the textbox.

You can now start installing the app.

Part 2: Install & Set Up APKTime

Here are the steps:

1. Type the Downloader code 72892 here and click Go. This code takes you to the APKTime website at apps.apktime.com.

2. Wait while you are being redirected.

3. Click the APKtime APK download link on this page.

4. Wait for the download to finish.

5. Click Install.

6. Click DONE when the installation has finished.

7. Click Delete to delete the installation file and save some space.

8. Click Delete again.

9. Go back to the FireStick home screen and navigate to FireStick Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install Unknown Apps. Click and enable APKTime.

Part 3: Install Nova TV APK

Important: Nova TV APK may appear blocked after installation on FireStick devices. If that happens, follow the steps in the How to Unblock Nova TV section later in this guide.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to your apps section and open APKTime.

2. Click the search button in the top-right corner.

3. Type Nova TV in the search box.

4. Choose the older version 2.3.4 as the new version is getting blocked by Amazon. The old version is also ad-free.

Part 4: Install VLC Player

Nova TV prompts you to install the Bear Player when you try to watch a video. However, it works best with VLC. Therefore, I am providing the steps to install VLC Player from the Amazon Store.

1. Go to FireStick home screen and then navigate to Find > Search.

2. Type VLC and click it in the search results.

3. Click the VLC Player tile on the following window.

4. Click the Download button. Wait for the app to install. No need to open the VLC Player just yet. It will automatically open during playback.

How to Unblock Nova TV

As I mentioned earlier, Nova TV is blocked by Amazon. When you try to run the app, the following message appears.

However, you can clone and unblock it using App Cloner. Let me show you how.

1. First, download and install the App Cloner app by using the Downloader code 7463345.

2. Go to FireStick Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install Unknown Apps and enable App Cloner.

3. Open App Cloner and click the Nova app icon.

4. Click the Clone App option.

5. Wait for the cloning process to finish. This takes several minutes.

6. Click Install.

7. Click DONE or OPEN.

8. You will notice in the Apps section that there are two Nova TV icons. You can open the cloned one and start using the app.

How to Use Nova TV

Let’s take a look at the app.

Basic Navigation & Playback

Here’s the home screen of the Nova TV app. As you can see, it is quite basic. There’s a menu button in the top-left corner. A search icon in the top-right section. It also features a history button next to the search button, but it usually doesn’t work.

Underneath the top bar is the section featuring genres and categories, such as Action & Adventure, Comedy, Crime, Documentary, and more.

By default, the app displays TV shows first. If you want to browse movies, click the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner.

Click Movies in the dropdown.

When you select a movie or episode, this is how the dashboard looks.

Nova TV may ask you to install Bear Player, but you may dismiss the prompt by clicking Cancel. As I mentioned earlier, it works best with the VLC player, which you can install from the Amazon Store.

When you click Play, the app will show the available streaming links. Click one of the links to start streaming.

Integrate Debrid Services
