How to Install FilmPlus on FireStick (Bear Player Installation Steps Included)

You will need to sideload this app on FireStick as it isn’t available on the Amazon Store.
FilmPlus will work only with Bear Player. Therefore, I have also included the steps to install this player.
Step 1: Install & Set Up Downloader
If you already have Downloader, click to jump to app installation steps.
The following steps will show you how to install Downloader on FireStick. If you own a Google or Android TV, use the search option on the home screen to find and install Downloader. You can also follow our step-by-step guide on sideloading on Google or Android TV devices.
1. From the home screen of your FireStick, navigate to Find and Search.
2. Start typing Downloader and click it in the search results.
3. Click the Downloader icon on the next window.
4. Click the Download button (or you may see the Get button).
5. Wait for the installation to finish.
6. We will now set up Downloader for sideloading. Go to FireStick Settings from the home screen.
7. Click My Fire TV.
8. Click Developer Options.
Can't see Developer Options? Click About, then click your FireStick device name 7 times until you see "No need, you are already a developer" at the bottom (or read the step-by-step instructions to enable Developer Options).
9. Click Install unknown apps.
Note: If your device shows the global setting Apps from Unknown Sources, enable it and skip the next step.
10. If Downloader is OFF, click it and turn it ON.
11. Go back to the FireStick home screen and click the App library icon.
12. Open Downloader.
13. Click Allow (one-time permission is required).
14. Click OK if you see this prompt.
15. Click the # icon to open the numeric pad and enter the Downloader code. If you want to type a URL, click the textbox.
You can now start installing the app.
Step 2: Install FilmPlus
Please follow these steps:
1. Open Downloader and enter the code 7031641, then click Next (or press the Play/Pause button on your remote).
2. Wait for 5 seconds.
3. Click the download button on the MediaFire page to begin downloading the APK file.
4. Wait for the FilmPlus APK to download.
5. Once the APK finishes downloading, the installation window will appear. Click Install.
6. When the App Installed message appears, select DONE instead of OPEN. This allows you to remove the APK file first and save storage space.
7. Click Delete when prompted.
8. Click Delete again to confirm removal of the installation file.
You have successfully installed FilmPlus.
Step 3: Unblock FilmPlus
| Note: Follow these steps only if your FireStick is blocking FilmPlus. If you can open and use the FilmPlus app, please ignore these steps. |
1. Download, install, & set up the App Cloner app (Downloader code 7463345) by following our step-by-step guide. Open App Cloner and click FilmPlus.
2. On the following pop-up, click Clone App.
3. Wait for the process to complete. It may take a few minutes.
4. Click Install.
5. Click Done or Open.
6. In the Apps library, you will notice a copy of the FilmPlus app. The second one is the clone and the unblocked version.
Step 4: Install Bear Player
Bear Player is required with FilmPlus. Here are the steps to install it:
1. Go to FireStick Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install Unknows Apps. Enable FilmPlus.

2. Go to FireStick home screen and click the apps icon.
3. Open FilmPlus.
4. Click Allow if prompted.
5. Try to play the film or episode you want to watch.
6. You should see this prompt. Click Install.
7. Wait for the Bear Player to download.
8. Click Install to install the Bear Player app.
How to Block Ads on FilmPlus
FilmPlus displays multiple ads, and they can be very annoying. The good news is that ExpressVPN includes an ad-blocking feature that can reduce many of these ads.

When you run it the first time, you may encounter the following prompt. Click Allow to continue.
Here’s the app’s home screen. The menu bar is at the top. It includes a hamburger icon in the top-left corner that opens a dropdown menu with various options. Next to it is the icon with an inverted triangle that lets you choose content genres/categories.
The top-right section has the search option to find movies and shows. The star icon lets you quickly access titles you have marked as favorites. The last icon with 3 vertical dots is largely irrelevant.
To browse movies, click the hamburger icon in the top-left.
You can now choose Movies from the dropdown.
When you click a movie or episode, you see a dashboard like this. Click the play button to start.
You are likely to find multiple links for a title. Click a link.
Click Play when prompted.
If you haven’t installed Bear Player yet, click Install on this prompt, then follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
Debrid Integration
Debrid services let you access premium links, which are usually of much better quality than the free links. Premium links usually open faster and are more reliable than free links.
Here is how you can sign in with a debrid account (I am using Real Debrid for demonstration):
1. Click the menu icon in the top-left corner.
2. Click Settings in the dropdown.
3. Click the Real Debrid login option.
4. Note down the code on your screen. Now, go to https://real-debrid.com/device and authenticate with the code.

Trakt Integration
Trakt is an optional service, but if you want to sync your watchlist, history, and recommendations across platforms, you should get it.
1. If you don’t have a Trakt account, go to the official website and set it up. Now, click the menu icon on the FilmPlus home screen (top-left corner).
2. Click Settings.
3. Choose the Trakt login option.
4. Note down the code and go to trakt.tv/activate to authenticate it.
FilmPlus Review
Safety
